Is the airplane noise really that bad?
Yes. You are directly under the flight path. It's loud enough to pause conversation. It stops mostly at night, but daytimes are noisy.
Is the private island actually private?
It's exclusive to Sandals guests. A 'Dragon Boat' runs every few minutes. It has a pool, beach, and two restaurants.
Can I eat at Sandals Montego Bay?
Yes, you have full exchange privileges. A free shuttle takes 5-10 minutes. You can eat, drink, and play there for free.
Is there a nude beach?
Yes, there is a designated 'clothing optional' section on the back side of the private island. It is secluded and clearly marked.
How is the wifi?
Generally good and free throughout the resort, including on the private island, though it can be spotty on the beach.
Do I need to tip?
No. Tipping is strictly forbidden for resort staff, except for Butlers and Spa therapists. You should tip airport drivers and excursion guides.
