Roomer is looking for a freelance UI/UX designer with a true passion for perfect design and performance.
Roomer is serving hundreds of travelers each day - all across the globe. We constantly try and improve our business portfolio as well as our user experience on our existing products. Roomer is looking for a freelance designer with a true passion for perfect design and performance. As an ideal candidate, you are a go-doer, with a passion for solving creative interactive problems independently, and enjoy collaborating with stakeholders from all departments and teams. You are up to date the current trends in web and mobile design, and have a good understanding of product, business and marketing needs.
Responsibilities
  • Help Roomer’s sales cycle by creating product UI propositions and mockups for partnerships prospects. Your designs must be based you on a valid business case on how to best serve the product goals.
  • Create UI/UX design for features in Roomer’s roadmap for our website and mobile apps.
  • Participate in ongoing improvements for existing products and features, to implement the best user experience and meet target results.
  • Deliver graphic materials for presentations, events and for online & offline marketing needs.
Requirements
  • 3 years of web design experience.
  • Portfolio of web & mobile product design with live product examples.
  • Excellent communication skills - you should be able to clearly articulate your design decisions with different stakeholders within the company.
  • Past Experience delivering designs based on PRD docs and wireframes.
  • Familiarity with Responsive design. Experience working closely with web and mobile developers is a big plus.
  • Availability to work an average of 1-2 days a week, preferably from our offices in the centre of Tel-Aviv.
  • Fast learner, with a positive attitude and willingness to participate in small as well as large projects.
  • Knowledge of the main design tools, such as Photoshop, Sketch, Invision and illustrator.
  • Fluent English is a must. French, Spanish and German is an advantage.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Previous work at a startup is an advantage.
