Warum Gäste es lieben

8.5932 Bewertungen
  • Unbeatable location: walk to the Night Market, bars, and beach instantly
  • The lagoon-style pool is huge, family-friendly, and has a slide
  • Every single room has an ocean view balcony

Kurzfassung: A towering 17-story landmark that relies heavily on its killer location and pool while half the rooms are still stuck in the 1990s.

Bewertet von @phen11dI wasn't expecting much from the room interior, but once I slid open those balcony doors, I was floored. The wrap-around terrace is massive with a killer ocean view. Definitely ask for a high-floor corner suite if you want this specific experience!

Was Gäste, die hier übernachtet haben, sagten

The hype

Families love the pool and location, but everyone agrees the elevators are slow and the 'Classic' rooms are tired.

Reality check

If you book the cheapest room, you will get a 'Classic' room with chipped tiles, worn furniture, and a distinct lack of power outlets.

  • You want to stumble out of a bar on Soi Bintabaht and be in your lobby in 2 minutes
  • You are a Hilton Honors Diamond member (the renovated lounge is excellent)
  • You have kids who need a slide and a huge pool to burn energy

Sauberkeit & Instandhaltung

7.5
  • Housekeeping: Generally good daily service, but recent reports of 'missed spots' and 'dried bugs' in older rooms.
  • Bathroom hygiene: Renovated bathrooms are spotless. Old bathrooms have grout issues, chipped tiles, and signs of long-term wear.
  • Maintenance: The 'Classic' rooms are showing their age—peeling paint and worn carpets are common complaints.
  • Linens & towels: Standard Hilton quality—clean and crisp, though pool towels can run out by midday.
  • Odors & scents: Lobby smells of fresh sea breeze (and humidity); older rooms can have a faint musty smell.

  • Construction/demolition work next door (daytime)
  • Thumping bass from nearby bars and the on-site Hard Rock Cafe (evening)
  • Thin connecting doors in older rooms

Vor der Buchung

Gut zu wissen

  • The 'Classic' rooms are the old ones; 'Premium' means renovated.
  • Join Hilton Honors before booking; the Wi-Fi is only free for members.
  • The beach directly in front can disappear at high tide; check the tide charts.

Was Sie einpacken sollten

  • Earplugs (essential for lower floors)
  • Power strip (older rooms have very few outlets)
  • Mosquito repellent (for the open-air lobby and pool bar)

Zimmer-Genie

Beste Auswahl

  • Premium Ocean View (high floor) — these are the renovated ones
  • Executive Oceanfront Suite — worth the splurge for the space and lounge access

Zimmer, die Sie meiden sollten

  • Classic Ocean View — code for 'unrenovated since 1995'
  • Rooms on floors 3-5 facing the street/Hard Rock if you sleep early

I am requesting a 'Premium' or 'Renovated' room on a high floor (10+). Please ensure I am NOT in a 'Classic' unrenovated room. Quiet side away from the construction site preferred.

FAQ & Geheimtipps

Alles, was Sie vor der Buchung wirklich wissen möchten.

Is the construction noise really that bad?

Yes, recent Feb 2026 reviews cite active demolition next door. It's a daytime annoyance, so plan to be at the pool or beach.

Is the pool crowded?

Extremely. It's the hotel's best feature. Go early to snag a spot, or book a suite with a large balcony to sunbathe in private.

How is the breakfast?

Excellent. A massive spread with Thai, Chinese, and Western stations. It gets chaotic after 9 AM.

Can I walk to the Night Market?

Yes, it's a 5-10 minute easy walk. You are in the heart of town.

Are the rooms renovated?

Only the 'Premium' and 'Executive' categories. 'Classic' rooms are old. You must book the specific type to guarantee a new room.

Is there a resort fee?

No hidden resort fee, but a 10% service charge and 7% VAT are added to all bills in Thailand.

Insider-Tipps

  • The Executive Lounge on the Mezzanine floor has a better sunset view than the rooftop bar.

  • Walk south along the beach for 5 minutes to find cheaper, quieter massage spots than the hotel spa.

  • The 'White Lotus' rooftop restaurant has a separate elevator; use it to skip the lobby crowds.

5 Dinge, die Sie wissen sollten, bevor Sie losfahren

  • 💡The 'ocean view' from low floors is mostly a view of the pool and palm trees.

  • 💡The elevators are notoriously slow and hot during peak times.

  • 💡There is a secret squash court that is almost always empty.

  • 💡The beach vendors nearby can be aggressive; a firm 'no' is required.

  • 💡The lobby is open-air and can get muggy and mosquito-prone in the evening.
