Warum Gäste es lieben

8.61776 Bewertungen
  • Incredible breakfast buffet at Kitchen6 with six live cooking stations
  • Corner Suites offer panoramic floor-to-ceiling views of the Burj Khalifa and canal
  • The Vault bar on the 71st/72nd floor has some of the best skyline views in Dubai

Kurzfassung: It's a massive, bustling convention hotel that feels like an airport terminal for business travelers, but the dining and views are world-class if you can handle the crowds.

Bewertet von @prossy_youngI brought the whole family here and the sheer size of the room was a game changer. The kids had space to burn energy while I relaxed in that massive soaking tub. If you need room to breathe in Dubai, this is the spot.

Was Gäste, die hier übernachtet haben, sagten

The hype

Guests are blown away by the breakfast and the views from high floors, but consistently complain about the elevator logistics and traffic getting in/out of Business Bay.

Reality check

You aren't walking anywhere. Despite looking close to things on a map, the highway and construction make walking to Dubai Mall or the Metro nearly impossible/dangerous.

  • You are a Marriott Bonvoy elite member (the lounge is excellent)
  • You want to eat at top-tier restaurants without leaving your hotel
  • You love high-rise city views and modern, glossy interiors

Sauberkeit & Instandhaltung

8.5
  • Housekeeping: Generally sharp and daily, but missed spots (dust on high ledges) are common due to room volume.
  • Bathroom hygiene: Sparkling. Marble is well-maintained, though some grout lines show age in older rooms.
  • Maintenance: Good, but high traffic means occasional scuffs on walls and worn carpets in hallways.
  • Linens & towels: Crisp, high-thread-count Marriott standard. Towels are fluffy and plentiful.
  • Odors & scents: Lobby is heavily perfumed. Some non-smoking rooms have faint stale smoke smells from rule-breakers.

  • Thumping bass from Vault nightclub (floors 71/72) affecting floors 60-70
  • Relentless highway drone from Sheikh Zayed Road on 'Sea View' side

Vor der Buchung

Gut zu wissen

  • Tourism Dirham fee is AED 20 per bedroom per night, payable at hotel
  • Valet parking is free for guests, but there is NO self-parking option
  • The free shuttle to Dubai Mall runs frequently but can fill up fast—book your seat with the concierge

Was Sie einpacken sollten

  • Formal wear for the restaurants (dress codes are enforced)
  • Earplugs if you end up on a high floor near the club or low floor near the road

Zimmer-Genie

Beste Auswahl

  • Corner Suites (ending in xx08 or xx10) for the dual-aspect views
  • Canal View rooms for a quieter experience and often a better angle of the Burj Khalifa

Zimmer, die Sie meiden sollten

  • Floors 65-70 if you are sensitive to bass (directly under the nightclub)
  • Low floors (under 20) on the Sheikh Zayed Road side due to traffic noise

Zimmerwunsch-Genie – kopieren & einfügen

I would appreciate a room on a mid-to-high floor (30-50) facing the Dubai Water Canal for the best balance of view and quiet. Please avoid the floors immediately below the Vault nightclub.

FAQ & Geheimtipps

Is the pool heated?

Yes, the outdoor pool is temperature-controlled, but be aware it sits in the shadow of the towers for much of the afternoon.

Can I walk to the Dubai Mall?

Technically yes (30+ mins), but practically no. It involves crossing major highways and construction zones. Take the free shuttle or a cheap taxi.

Is breakfast included?

Not in standard rates. It costs approx AED 155 per person if purchased separately, but it's widely considered one of the best buffets in Dubai.

Does the hotel serve alcohol?

Yes, extensively. There are multiple bars and licensed restaurants, including the famous Vault and Bridgewater Tavern.

Is there a resort fee?

No 'resort fee', but there is a mandatory 'Tourism Dirham' fee of AED 20 per room, per night.

Are pets allowed?

No, pets are not allowed at this property.

Insider-Tipps

  • The 'Dead Sea' flotation pool in Saray Spa is a hidden gem, but it requires a paid treatment or day pass—it's not free for all guests.

  • Use the 'Tower B' elevators if you can; they are often slightly less chaotic than Tower A during convention peaks.

  • Happy Hour at Vault (usually 5-7pm) gets you the same million-dollar view for half the price of a regular cocktail.

5 Dinge, die Sie wissen sollten, bevor Sie losfahren

  • 💡The windows are often dusty on the outside due to desert sandstorms, which can slightly mar that perfect view.

  • 💡You have to change elevators at the mezzanine level to get to the pool, which is annoying in a bathrobe.

  • 💡The 'Sea View' is mostly a view of a highway and construction cranes with the sea in the far distance.

  • 💡The lobby scent is intense—a signature heavy floral/oud fragrance that you will either love or get a headache from.

  • 💡Room service breakfast is surprisingly good value compared to the buffet if you just want coffee and eggs.
