Is there a private beach?
No. You have access to the public JBR beach, which is a 5-minute walk away. The hotel provides towels and umbrellas.
Is the hotel pet-friendly?
Yes, surprisingly for Dubai. Cats and dogs up to 30kg are welcome for a fee (approx AED 250/stay).
Does the hotel serve alcohol?
Yes, there are licensed bars and restaurants on-site, including a speakeasy and rooftop lounge.
Is breakfast included?
Depends on your rate. It's served at Shores or Jones the Grocer. Jones the Grocer is excellent but not always included in standard buffet packages.
How bad are the elevators really?
They are a genuine pain point. During breakfast (9-10am) and dinner rush, expect to wait.
Is there a shuttle to the mall?
No dedicated shuttle, but Dubai Marina Mall is a walkable distance (15-20 mins) or a quick taxi ride.
