While the shower pressure wasn't amazing, the balcony and overall comfort made it a great base in Pacific Harbour.

The humidity here is relentless—expect damp sheets and condensation on the AC vents if you're in a ground-floor garden room.

- Bathroom hygiene: Older bathrooms have stained grout and signs of water damage. Newer wing bathrooms are much better.

- Linens & towels: Clean but can feel 'damp' due to the climate. Towels are sometimes a bit thin.
- Odors & scents: The pervasive smell of 'tropical must' in the hallways and older rooms.
