My stay at Alila Napa Valley was the definition of quiet luxury. The experience centers around the incredible connection to the landscape. The highlight for me was the Vineyard View Suite. The room features automated shades that rise to reveal a breathtaking, unobstructed view of the Beringer Vineyards right outside. The design is minimalist and earthy, blending perfectly with the outdoors. I spent my evenings on the private terrace, which has a dedicated fire pit—an absolute essential for Napa's cool evenings. There is also an oversized outdoor soaking tub that feels incredibly private despite being open to the view. The property has a serene pool area with its own fire features, perfect for lounging after a day of tasting in St. Helena. It’s an adult-centric escape that feels sophisticated yet deeply relaxing.
