Perché piace così tanto

8.11988 recensioni
  • The rooftop terrace offers a literal front-row seat to Gaudi's masterpiece (200m away)
  • Rooms with 'Landmark View' let you wake up staring directly at the Nativity Façade
  • Located in a quieter, residential pocket of Eixample but right next to the metro

In sintesi: You are paying for the view, not the room size or luxury service—manage your expectations accordingly.

Recensito da @Globusgefluester: I booked this room specifically for the view, and it blew my mind. Opening the curtains to see the Sagrada Familia towering over me was emotional. It’s small, but having that private balcony to enjoy coffee while staring at Gaudi’s masterpiece made it totally worth it.

The hype

Travelers are blown away by the view and location but often underwhelmed by the small, basic rooms and thin walls.

Reality check

The 'Landmark View' is real and spectacular, but the 'soundproof' rooms often fail to block out hallway noise and street bustle.

  • Your main goal is photography and seeing the Sagrada Familia 24/7
  • You prefer a self-sufficient stay and don't need concierge hand-holding
  • You want to be near the action but away from the chaos of Las Ramblas

Pulizia e manutenzione

8.5
  • Housekeeping: Generally reliable daily service; rooms are tidy upon arrival.
  • Bathroom hygiene: Mostly clean, though some reports of rusty fixtures or faint mold smell in older bathrooms.
  • Maintenance: Some wear and tear visible (scuffed floors, peeling paint) in standard rooms.
  • Linens & towels: Crisp and clean, standard hotel quality.
  • Odors & scents: Neutral, though some hallway carpets can smell a bit musty/dusty.

Buono a sapersi

  • City tax is approx €6.27 per person/night, payable at check-in
  • Rooftop table reservations have a 1.5-hour time limit
  • Luggage storage is free and available before check-in/after check-out

Cosa portare

  • Earplugs (essential for street-facing rooms)
  • European power adapter (Type C/F)
  • Telephoto lens for the rooftop (the details on the towers are insane)

Genio delle camere

Migliori scelte

  • Classic Double with Sagrada Familia View (High Floor) — essential for the experience
  • Superior Room — slightly more space (25 sqm) if you have luggage

Camere da evitare

  • Standard Interior Rooms on lower floors — dark and viewless
  • Rooms near the elevator — high foot traffic noise

Genio delle richieste camera – copia e incolla

I am celebrating a special occasion and specifically booked a 'Sagrada Familia View' room. Could you please assign a room on the 6th floor or higher to clear the tree line for the best view? Quiet away from the elevator is also appreciated.

FAQ e consigli nascosti

Tutto ciò che vuoi davvero sapere prima di prenotare.

Do I need a reservation for the rooftop bar?

Yes. While guests can usually go up to 'look' for free, sitting at a table requires a reservation, which books up weeks in advance for sunset.

Is there a pool?

No. There is a solarium with a small jacuzzi and sun loungers, but no swimming pool.

Is breakfast included?

Usually not. It costs ~€18/person. It's a decent buffet but many guests prefer local cafes for better value.

How close is the Sagrada Familia?

Literally one block away (200 meters). You can see the construction cranes from the hotel entrance.

Is there a gym?

No standard gym. They partner with 'KOA Center' for paid personal training sessions on the rooftop, but there are no treadmills for free use.

Is it safe at night?

Yes, Eixample is a safe, residential area. Just practice standard big-city caution with pickpockets near the metro.

Suggerimenti degli Insider

  • Guests get priority access to the rooftop, but if you want the prime sunset table, book it online 2 weeks out even if you are staying there.

  • The 'Tower of Jesus Christ' is the main construction focus for 2025/2026 — you'll have a front-row seat to history.

  • Skip the hotel breakfast and walk 2 mins to 'Forn de Pa' for fresh pastries at a fraction of the price.

5 cose da sapere prima di partire

  • 💡The 'Juliet balconies' in some rooms are often locked shut for safety, so don't expect to step out.

  • 💡The rooftop bar food is essentially 'snack bar' quality (tapas, burgers) — go for drinks, eat dinner elsewhere.

  • 💡There is a 'chill-out area' on the roof distinct from the solarium that is often quieter.

  • 💡The elevators can be painfully slow during peak check-out times (10-11 AM).

  • 💡You can see the Sagrada Familia's 'Star of the Virgin Mary' light up at night directly from the terrace.
