Reality check
Globalists are consistently disappointed by the gutted Club Lounge offerings, though the restaurant breakfast compensation softens the blow.
- You're a World of Hyatt loyalist farming nights (Category 4 sweet spot)
- You need a serious gym to burn off convention dinners
- You want a brand-new, crisp room without 'historic' dust or quirks

- Housekeeping: By request mostly. If you don't ask, they won't come. Generally efficient when they do.
- Bathroom hygiene: Sparkling. Grout is new (2018 build), but watch for 'missed hairs' in the corners.
- Maintenance: Excellent. It's a new building. The only recurring issue is the HVAC noise.
- Linens & towels: Crisp and standard Hyatt white. Towels are plentiful but not plush.
- Odors & scents: Neutral. No heavy perfumes, but no 'fresh air' either due to sealed windows.

No. This is the most common complaint. If you need a swim, book the Hyatt at Olive 8 across the street.
Does the Club Lounge serve food?
Currently, no. It's a 'VIP Lounge' with coffee, soft drinks, and a terrace, but no breakfast or evening appetizers.
What is the Globalist breakfast benefit?
Since the lounge has no food, you get a full buffet breakfast at Andare Kitchen (excellent quality) or a credit for the Market (grab-and-go).
Is it pet friendly?
Yes, dogs are welcome for a $100 fee per stay (up to 6 nights).
How far is Pike Place Market?
It's about a 10-15 minute walk (approx. 6-8 blocks) downhill. The walk back is uphill.
Is there a resort/destination fee?
No, it was removed in late 2024. You pay the room rate + tax.
