No. It is in Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate, a residential reserve about 45-60 minutes from the Orpen Gate of Kruger.
Can I see the Big 5 at the lodge?
No. You will see giraffe, zebra, warthog, and antelope on the property. Big 5 requires a booked game drive off-site.
Is the pool heated?
No, it is a solar-powered lodge but the pool itself is generally unheated.
Is it safe to walk around?
Yes, unlike Big 5 reserves, you can walk, run, or cycle on the estate roads safely.
How is the wifi?
Excellent. Starlink/Fiber speeds (100+ Mbps) make it very work-friendly.
Do they have power during load shedding?
Yes, the lodge has solar and generator backup, so wifi and lights stay on.
