Is there AC in the tents?
No, standard tents only have fans and space heaters. Only the hard-sided Cabins have AC.
How bad is the noise really?
It's the #1 complaint. You are sleeping in a canvas tent next to a 55mph country highway. It quiets down late at night but starts up early.
Are the bathrooms shared?
Yes, but they are excellent. Individual private rooms with showers, toilets, and sinks. Very clean and modern.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes, up to 2 dogs are allowed for a $30/night fee. They must be leashed and cannot be left alone in the tent.
Is there electricity in the tents?
Yes, tents have power strips for charging phones and running the heated mattress pads/lamps. No high-voltage hair dryers allowed.
How far is the river?
It's a 1-2 minute walk from any tent. There is a private beach area for guests.
