The 'Resort Rooms' (cheapest category) are shockingly small and lack privacy, with neighbors easily looking in.
- You surf (or love watching people surf)
- You want a vacation that includes CrossFit and cold-pressed juice
- You prefer sunrise yoga over late-night clubbing

- Bathroom hygiene: Bathrooms are modern and clean, though ground floor units can fight a losing battle against humidity (minor musty smells occasionally reported).
- Maintenance: Grounds are manicured to perfection. Rooms are well-kept, though the salt air takes a toll on metal fixtures over time.
- Linens & towels: Fresh and crisp, but pool towels can sometimes run out by late afternoon.
- Odors & scents: Mostly fresh ocean air and frangipani, with the occasional whiff of dampness in the wet season.

Can I swim in the ocean?
Technically yes, but it's a heavy reef break with strong currents. Better for surfing than leisurely dipping.
Is it good for families?
Surprisingly yes. There's a kids' club, skate park, and a dedicated family pool, but the vibe is more 'active family' than 'resort entertainment'.
How expensive is the food?
Resort prices. Mains are $10-18 USD, plus 21% tax/service. It adds up if you don't leave the property.
Is there nightlife?
Not really. The Beach Club has music and night surfing to watch, but it shuts down relatively early. This is an early-to-bed, early-to-rise spot.
Can I get a Grab/Gojek to the hotel?
You can get dropped off, but they cannot pick you up. You'll need to negotiate with local drivers or use hotel transport to leave.
What is the 'Health Hub'?
It's a dedicated zone with an adults-only pool, a massive functional gym, organic cafe, and spa. It's the best part of the hotel for non-surfers.
