Join me for a stay at the Dhigufaru Island Resort in the Maldives, where I checked into a stunning Overwater Villa. The journey starts with a boat transfer across the deep blue ocean, leading to these secluded wooden sanctuaries. Inside, the room features a massive King Bed with ocean views, a fully stocked minibar with Nespresso coffee, and a sleek bathroom. The real magic happens outside on the private terrace. I spent hours lounging by my personal infinity pool, watching the clouds roll over the turquoise lagoon. The direct ocean access allowed for spontaneous swims whenever I wanted. Despite the overcast weather, the atmosphere was incredibly serene and moody, perfect for a romantic honeymoon or a solo escape to disconnect from the world.
