My room was minimalist but cozy, and stepping onto the balcony to see the Chao Phraya river lit up at night was the highlight. Perfect mix of party and peace.

The 'Cozy' rooms are well-designed but can feel tight for two people with big luggage, and the lack of soundproofing is the number one gripe.

No. The Old Town is not well-connected to the skytrain. Your best bet is the Chao Phraya Express Boat or taxis.
