Massive pool selection including a dedicated activity pool and quiet zones
Private pool suites are surprisingly affordable compared to other 5-star Greek resorts
Kiotari location is far quieter and less chaotic than Faliraki or Rhodes Town
Hurtig oversigt: A solid 4-star family machine wearing a 5-star badge; come for the pools, not the 'gourmet' buffet.
Anmeldt af @nicoletheblogger: I felt completely spoiled here. The resort is massive, so even when it's busy, you can find a quiet spot. I loved switching between the huge main pool and the beach—the water is incredibly clear. Definitely a place to go if you just want to decompress and do nothing.

The hype
Families love the water slides and pool variety, but couples often feel the '5-star' service and food quality don't quite match the price tag.
Reality check
The 'all-inclusive' drinks are often weak/sugary, and you'll likely end up eating at the same buffet repeatedly because the themed restaurants are impossible to book.
You are a family with active kids who need water slides and animation
You plan to rent a car and explore the south of Rhodes (Lindos, Prasonisi)
You book a Suite with a Private Pool to escape the main crowd
Renhed & Vedligeholdelse
8.4
Housekeeping: Daily service is generally reliable, though some guests report 'rushed' cleaning in peak season.
Bathroom hygiene: Mostly clean, but watch out for mold in the grout of older rooms and the aforementioned sewage smell near drains.
Maintenance: The grounds are manicured, but some rooms show wear (peeling paint, loose tiles).
Linens & towels: Standard hotel quality; pool towels can be a bit worn/thin.
Odors & scents: Lobby smells fresh; avoid the 'Relax Pool' area if you have a sensitive nose (sewage whiffs).

“I am requesting a room on a higher floor to ensure privacy and avoid ground-level humidity. Please ensure my room is NOT located near the 'Relax Pool' or the main sewage vents, as I am sensitive to odors. If available, a room closer to the beach would be appreciated to minimize walking.”
Ofte stillede spørgsmål og skjulte tips
Alt hvad du gerne vil vide før du booker.
Is the beach sandy?
No, it is a mix of sand, shingle, and pebbles. You absolutely need water shoes to enter the water comfortably.
Is the food good?
The main buffet is edible but repetitive (lots of pasta/pizza). The a la carte restaurants are better but notoriously hard to book.
Is it walkable to town?
Kiotari is more of a hotel strip than a town. You can walk to a few nearby tavernas, but you'll want a car or bus to get to Lindos (15 mins away).
Are the pools heated?
Generally no. The outdoor pools can be chilly in May and October. There is one indoor heated pool in the spa area.
Is there a dress code for dinner?
Yes, 'smart casual' is enforced in the a la carte restaurants. Men should pack long trousers.
Can I park my car there?
Yes, there is free self-parking on site, though spaces can get tight during peak August weeks.
Insidertips
✨
The 'Dine Around' program allows you to eat at themed restaurants, but you must book literally the second you check in (or email beforehand if possible).
✨
Walk 10 minutes down the beach to 'Stefano Fish Tavern' for a lunch that is infinitely better than the hotel buffet.
✨
The Wi-Fi is spotty in the outlying bungalow rooms; the main building has the strongest signal.
5 ting du bør vide før du tager af sted
💡The 'Relax Pool' area has a recurring issue with a sewage/sulfur smell that depends on the wind direction.
💡You have to pay a deposit for pool towels and exchange them at the spa, which is a bit of a trek.
💡The 'all-inclusive' cocktails are often pre-mixed sugary syrup; stick to beer, wine, or simple mixers like gin & tonic.
💡There is a '7D Cinema' on site, which is a weird but fun distraction for kids when they get sunburned.
💡Cats are everywhere on the property. Great if you love them, a nightmare if you're allergic.
