📍@volkshotel in Amsterdam This is a must stay and here is why it is worth the HYPE! ✔️H- The team was all super friendly and helpful! ✔️Y- Volkshotel has a restaurant/café on the first floor (Werkplats) and the 7th floor which is a rooftop setting called Canvas. I didn’t get a chance to dine at the restaurant but the café had delicious cappuccinos and gluten free options for an easy nosh. ✔️P- Pricing was super fair. I stayed in their XS room which was the smallest and most affordable. It was so cozy and I would highly recommend if you are a solo traveler or couple. ✔️E- They have a co-working space and café on the first floor with lots of places to sit and have a private meeting or enjoy the communal setting. There are a medley of activities which you can find on their events page but on the rooftop was a restaurant with incredible city views and 3 hot tubs and a sauna on the 8th floor. 📍Location was perfect! It is away from the hustle of the center and there is a metro station just steps away from the hotel making it really easy to take transportation. I personally love walking but we took the metro and it was a breeze. The center is about a 30 minute walk and the metro got you there in half the time. I found this hotel when I was looking @condenasttraveller and saw it was also on the @michelinguide. Two of my go to lists when I’m researching places to stay and eat. The Volkshotel is an old newspaper factory and they carried that history in all the interior and marketing touches it was fantastic.
