@the_theva_residency is a Boutique Hotel located a few minutes away from the kandy town on a hill. It has awesome views over Hanthana hills especially from the upper rooms. When We arrived, We were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff Mr.Tuan & given a cold welcome drink which is freshly made Amberella that was truly refreshing after a long drive! A few minutes later We were escorted to our room.We had a great stay at this locally inspired modern boutique hotel.My experience I will share in this hotel review. First, I invite you to watch a short video impression I made during my stay.  The hotel has 4 categories of rooms which are Deluxe,Superior, Luxury suite and a penthouse. Each room has views over the valleys surrounding the mountain and ground view. Penthouse is the largest category room where bathroom is equipped with a bubble bath in which you also need to shower. Amenities are of good quality and replenished daily. The room had a large hall with a working desk, a perfect spot to write this article. The bed is large and comfortable. A sitting area is just in front of the windows which was a perfect spot to sit for an hour enjoying the view. The luxury Suite room comes with a Jacuzzi next to your bed with the stunning panoramic view of Hanthana Hills,which is a ideal way to de-stress;where i left a piece of my heart there! The Superior & Deluxe rooms are divided in a large balcony a living/bedroom and a huge bathroom. All the toiletries are from spaceylon, as one can expect from a luxury resort, of high quality and plentiful.Each room is further decorated with locally inspired art and color palette which represents cultural kandy Esala perahera. The eco friendly parts add an extra points. In the evening the balcony is a great place to relax with a cup of coffee.
