Yall, this hotel might be the shortest walk to a theme park I’ve ever seen! The entrance to Epic Universe is RIGHT out back of the new Helios Grand Hotel at @universalorlando resort! This Greek God themed hotel offers stunning views of Epic, a beautiful rooftop bar, 500 rooms, full service Greek restaurant, and large zero entry swimming pool is sure to be a hit this summer. But seriously the selling point is the dedicated entrance to Epic. Helios is technically in Celestial Park, meaning it’s INSIDE Epic. Staying at Helios also means early park entry. Helios is the Greek God of the sun, so you will see many thoughtful elements throughout the hotel that change based on the sun’s position. Upon entering the hotel, you are greeted with giant windows offering a back view of Epic. I was immediately drawn to this to get my first glimpse of the beautiful new Universal park. Downstairs you will find Flora Taverna, Aurora Market, and the Universal store. There is also a large gym and arcade down here. On the top floor is Helios, the rooftop bar. The ceiling is adorned with constellations and tons of light enters through windows from the east and west. I can’t wait to try a drink here! There is also an outdoor patio to enjoy the views. The rooms are nice but pretty standard. But the views are what’s incredible! Guests with epic view rooms can watch the lagoon show from their window and tune into the music on their tv. The zero-entry pool, an oasis for rest and relaxation, is equipped with underwater speakers and offers poolside cabanas for rent, a hot tub, poolside movies, recreational activities, and more.
