You will do a lot of walking; the estate is huge and spread out, which some find exhausting in the heat.

Can I walk to local restaurants?
No. You are in a gated estate. You'll need a taxi to get to Grand Baie (20 mins) or Port Louis (25 mins) for outside dining.
