Is the beach swimmable?
Often no. The sargassum (seaweed) barrier is heavy here, and the water is frequently brown and murky. Good for sandcastles, bad for snorkeling.
Is the 'Privilege' upgrade worth it?
Debatable. It gets you top-shelf liquor, a private beach area (still seaweed-y), and access to the 'Fusion' restaurant, but many find the standard package sufficient.
How bad is the food reservation system?
It's the #1 complaint. You must use the app at exactly 8:00 AM (or 7:57 AM) to book for that evening, or you'll be stuck at the buffet.
Is there a heated pool?
No, the pools are not heated and can be chilly in the winter months (Dec-Feb).
Is it pet friendly?
No. Pets are not allowed, with no exceptions for non-service animals.
