Why People Love It

7.9105 reviews
  • The 'Feel Free' app-based ordering system delivers street food and cocktails right to your sunbed
  • Vibrant main pool scene with daily DJ sets that actually set a good mood
  • Modern, Instagram-ready design that feels significantly fresher than most Corfu resorts

Quick Take: A stylish, social compound that nails the pool party vibe but struggles with road noise and a lackluster nearby beach.

Reviewed by @nandamithI spent my trip soaking up the sun at the pool and snapping my way through incredible meals. The modern boho design is gorgeous, and the adults-only vibe made it the perfect chill escape. From the gym to the bar, everything felt effortlessly cool. 10/10 recommend.

The hype

Travelers love the aesthetic and the staff, but the location divides opinion sharply.

Reality check

The 'swim-up' rooms look amazing on Instagram but the water is often freezing because they don't get enough direct sun.

  • You care more about a great pool scene and cocktails than direct beach access
  • You enjoy a social, clubby atmosphere with music playing most of the day
  • You prefer ordering food from your phone over fighting for tongs at a buffet

Cleanliness & Maintenance

8.5
  • Housekeeping: Generally reliable daily service, though balconies are sometimes neglected.
  • Bathroom hygiene: Modern and clean, but the glass partitions are a nightmare to keep smudge-free.
  • Maintenance: Grounds are immaculate; some reports of peeling paint in older room blocks.
  • Linens & towels: Fresh and crisp, though pool towels can run out by mid-afternoon.
  • Odors & scents: Lobby smells of signature scent (or chlorine), rooms are generally fresh unless near the smoking areas.

Sleepability™

6MODERATE
MODERATE
0-4LOUD
4-7.5MODERATE
7.5-10SILENT
  • Heavy traffic on Ethniki Paleokastritsas road (motorcycles, trucks)
  • DJ music from the main pool area (stops in the evening but loud during the day)
  • Thin walls/doors in some blocks

Before you book

Good to know

  • The 'Climate Resilience Levy' (tourist tax) is steep—expect to pay around €10 per night upon arrival
  • You absolutely need a rental car to see the 'real' Corfu beaches like Paleokastritsa or Glyfada
  • The hotel app is essential for ordering food and drinks; make sure your phone is charged

What to pack

  • High-quality earplugs (for the road noise)
  • Water shoes (if you plan to swim at the nearby pebbly Gouvia beach)
  • A portable battery pack (for ordering via the app all day)

Room Genie

Best picks

  • Panoramic Bay View rooms (upper floors) for the best sound insulation and actual views
  • Building 4 or 5 (back of the property) for a quieter experience away from the road

Rooms to avoid

  • Ground floor rooms facing the main road (serious noise issues)
  • Swim-up rooms if you are visiting in shoulder season (water is too cold)

Room Request Genie – copy & paste

I am a light sleeper and kindly request a room in a block furthest from the main road (Ethniki Paleokastritsas), ideally on an upper floor with a Bay View. Please avoid ground floor units near the reception/street.

FAQ & Hidden tips

Everything you actually want to know before you book.

Is the beach nice?

Honestly, no. Gouvia beach is pebbly, narrow, and nothing like the sandy paradises you see in brochures. Rent a car and drive 20 mins to the west coast.

Is it really adults only?

Yes, strictly 16+. You won't find screaming toddlers at the pool, but you might find loud 20-somethings.

How does the food ordering work?

It's 'Feel Free' concept. You scan a QR code at your sunbed or table, order via the app, and servers bring it to you. No buffet lines, but service speed can vary.

Is the pool heated?

No. The main pools are freshwater and unheated. They are refreshing in July/August but brisk in May or October.

Can I walk to town?

You can walk to Gouvia village (10 mins) for basic tavernas and bars, but for Corfu Town (Old Town), you need a 15-min taxi (~€20) or the Blue Bus No. 7.

Is there parking?

Yes, free self-parking is available, but the lot can get tight during peak season.

Insider Tips

  • The 'Quiet Pool' is a genuine sanctuary if the DJ at the main pool gets too intense—go there to actually read a book.

  • Walk 5 minutes down the road to 'Romeos Restaurant' for authentic Greek food at half the price of the hotel's a la carte.

  • The gym is surprisingly well-equipped for a hotel of this size; go early morning to beat the heat.

5 things to know before you go

  • 💡The open-plan bathroom means you can hear (and sometimes see) everything your partner does on the toilet.

  • 💡The 'Swim-up' rooms often get very little sun, making the private terrace damp and the water freezing.

  • 💡You have to cross a busy, dangerous road to get to the bus stop for Corfu Town.

  • 💡The chlorine smell in the lobby/pool area can be overpowering on certain days.

  • 💡Housekeeping sometimes skips the balcony cleaning, leaving it dusty.
