It's reputed to be one of Australia's most haunted sites. Staff and guests frequently report 'cold spots' and unexplained noises, but the ghosts generally leave you alone.
Can I walk to Manly?
Technically yes, but it's a long, hilly 35-40 minute trek. Most guests use the free shuttle to Manly Wharf.
Is there a pool?
No. You have direct access to Quarantine Beach for swimming, which is calm and netted.
Are the bathrooms shared?
In 'Heritage' and 'Q Room' categories, bathrooms are often external and private (key access) or shared. 'Deluxe' and 'Suites' have internal ensuites.
Is there a resort fee?
No specific resort fee, but you are in a National Park. Parking at reception is generally free for guests.
