Hotels in London are usually small and overpriced, but this one surprised me. I checked into the Bailey's Hotel in Gloucester Road, and the first thing you notice is the location. It's right opposite Gloucester Road Tube Station, so you're plugged straight into Central West London. Now let's talk value. If you can ignore the price tag, it's actually a really good stay. Breakfast, decent, does the job. It has everything you possibly could need: beans, bangers. What else do you need? There's also a restaurant serving Singaporean food attached to this place, which isn't what you'd expect, but it's surprisingly reasonable and well done. The rooms, well maybe I got lucky with an upgrade, but mine was huge! Honestly, you could have fit four people in there if you were so inclined, which for London is almost unheard of. So yes, the Bailey's isn't cheap, but it delivers on location, comfort, and a bit of unexpected space. I'd give it a solid 8 out of 10.
