Por qué a la gente le encanta

7.2157 reseñas
  • Stunning panoramic views of the Aegean Sea from the hillside
  • Incredible proximity to Ephesus ruins (15 mins away)
  • Lush, green grounds that feel more like a botanical garden than a hotel

Resumen rápido: A fading '5-star' giant where the views are world-class, but the food is cafeteria-grade and the elevators are frequently out of order.

Reseñado por @AzraxtmcI was blown away by the view from my balcony! The pool with the giant Evil Eye mosaic is even cooler in person, and I loved how easy it was to walk down to the pier for a dip in the sea. It felt like a total paradise.

Lo que dijeron los huéspedes que se hospedaron aquí

The hype

Guests love the location and the price, but consistently trash the food quality and the exhausting hike to get anywhere on the property.

Reality check

The 'All-Inclusive' dining is quantity over quality—think lukewarm buffets, long queues, and frozen meats rather than fresh local cuisine.

  • You are fit, active, and treat the stairs as a free workout
  • You prioritize ocean views over luxury interiors
  • You plan to spend most of your time exploring Ephesus and Selçuk

Limpieza y Mantenimiento

5.5
  • Housekeeping: Hit or miss. Daily service happens, but often rushed. Floors may remain sandy/dusty.
  • Bathroom hygiene: Major weak point. Complaints of black mold in grout, rusted fixtures, and a persistent sewage/humidity smell in lower-floor rooms.
  • Maintenance: Poor. Peeling paint, broken AC units, and out-of-order elevators are common complaints.
  • Linens & towels: Towels are often described as 'scratchy', 'grey', or 'stained'. Bring your own beach towel if you're picky.
  • Odors & scents: Lobby smells fine, but bungalow rooms often have a distinct 'damp basement' or 'sewage' odor.

MODERADO

  • Loud plumbing/AC units
  • Entertainment noise if near the main pool area

Antes de reservar

Es bueno saberlo

  • The Dolmuş (minibus) to Kusadasi and Selçuk stops right at the hotel gate every 15-20 minutes.
  • Wifi is free but spotty; don't plan on taking Zoom calls from your room.
  • Safe deposit boxes may incur a small daily fee depending on your booking package.

Qué llevar

  • Comfortable walking shoes (the stairs are no joke)
  • Mosquito repellent (essential for bungalow stays)
  • Water shoes (for the concrete beach platform and ladder entry)

Genio de Habitaciones

Mejores opciones

  • Main Building, Upper Floors (Sea View) — closest to the lobby/restaurant and less damp than bungalows
  • Junior Suites in Main Building for better renovation status

Habitaciones a evitar

  • Garden Bungalows (Club Rooms) on lower levels — prone to mold, bugs, and a long hike to dinner
  • Rooms near the amphitheater if you sleep before 11pm

I am requesting a room in the MAIN BUILDING on a high floor. Please do NOT assign a Garden Bungalow due to allergy/mobility concerns. Unobstructed sea view preferred.

Preguntas frecuentes y consejos ocultos

Todo lo que realmente quieres saber antes de reservar.

Is the hotel actually closing due to insolvency?

The hotel remains open and operational for the 2025 season, though the parent company's financial troubles have led to noticeable budget cuts in maintenance and food.

Is there a sandy beach?

No. It is a concrete platform/deck with sunbeds and ladders leading directly into deep water. Not suitable for non-swimmers or sandcastles.

How far is Ephesus?

Very close. It's about a 10-15 minute drive. You can take a taxi (~€10-15) or the local Dolmuş minibus (~30 TL).

Is the food good?

Honestly, no. It's edible mass-catering. Expect repetitive buffets. We highly recommend eating lunch in Selçuk town instead.

Are there elevators?

Yes, in the main building, but they are frequently out of order, leading to long waits or forced stair climbing.

Is it suitable for strollers?

Absolutely not. The terrain is extremely steep with stairs everywhere. You will be miserable carrying a stroller up and down the hill.

Consejos de Insiders

  • Skip the hotel buffet for lunch and take the Dolmuş to 'Selçuk Köfteci' for the best meatballs of your life.

  • The 'A La Carte' restaurants require reservations made immediately upon arrival—they book out instantly.

  • There is a 'Relax Pool' that is much quieter than the main activity pool—find it to escape the loud music.

5 cosas que debes saber antes de ir

  • 💡The 'sea view' often includes a view of the industrial cargo ships waiting for the port.

  • 💡You have to pay a deposit for beach towels, and changing them can be a hassle.

  • 💡The air conditioning is centrally controlled and often turned off or limited during 'shoulder season' months.

  • 💡Cats are everywhere. If you are allergic, this is a problem. If you love cats, it's paradise.

  • 💡The hotel is a favorite for budget package tours, so the crowd can be very large and rowdy during peak summer.
