Perché piace così tanto

  • Insane 'French Retro-Glam' interiors that look like Versailles on acid
  • Spacious suites (some with 2 bedrooms) perfect for group trips
  • The 66th-floor Sky Pool with Jacuzzi pods offering panoramic KL skyline views

In sintesi: A visually stunning Instagram trap where the elevators are slow, the breakfast is confusing, but the photos will make your friends jealous.

Recensito da @SOI still can't get over the details at Arte by Thomas Chan. It felt like sleeping inside a European palace right in the middle of KL. The ceiling frescoes and velvet furniture are just insane. If you love maximalist design and city views, you have to stay here.

Cosa hanno detto gli ospiti che hanno soggiornato qui

The hype

Guests are blown away by the design and room size but frequently frustrated by the elevators and service speed.

Reality check

You're paying for the architecture and the view, not 5-star service standards.

  • You are an influencer or content creator
  • You need a 2-bedroom suite for a girls' trip
  • You love high-concept, maximalist design

Pulizia e manutenzione

8.5
  • Housekeeping: Generally good daily service, though sometimes rush through details like dusting high shelves.
  • Bathroom hygiene: Mostly sparkling marble, but isolated horror stories of drain backups exist—check immediately upon entry.
  • Maintenance: New property so mostly fresh, but some 'paint droplets' and rough finishing touches visible if you look close.
  • Linens & towels: Fresh and crisp, though some guests noted towels felt 'used' or thin.
  • Odors & scents: Lobby smells expensive; rooms are generally fresh unless you get a rare musty drain smell.

Prima di prenotare

Buono a sapersi

  • Reception is on the 66th floor, not the ground floor.
  • A security deposit of RM 300-500 is required upon check-in (cash or card).
  • Tourism tax of RM 10/night applies to foreign passport holders.

Cosa portare

  • Wide-angle lens for the architecture
  • Swimsuit for the Jacuzzi pods (mandatory photo op)
  • Grab app installed on your phone (essential for transport)

Genio delle camere

Migliori scelte

  • Louis VIII Suite (High floor, opulent decor)
  • Glam Rooms with KLCC view (for the best city backdrop)

Camere da evitare

  • Low floor rooms facing the highway (noise)
  • Rooms directly adjacent to the lift lobby (noise)

Genio delle richieste camera – copia e incolla

I would love a 'Glam' or 'Louis' suite on the highest possible floor facing KLCC. Please ensure the room is away from the elevator shaft for quiet.

FAQ e consigli nascosti

Tutto ciò che vuoi davvero sapere prima di prenotare.

Is there a free breakfast buffet?

Usually no. It is typically a set menu (choose one main) with a small semi-buffet of pastries and cereal, which disappoints some guests.

Is the pool heated?

No, the outdoor pools are not heated, but the tropical KL weather makes them pleasant year-round.

Can I walk to Publika Shopping Gallery?

Technically yes (12-15 mins), but the route is not pedestrian-friendly. It's safer and sweat-free to take a cheap Grab ride.

Is parking free?

Yes, complimentary private parking is available for guests, but you must reserve it in advance.

What is the difference between the pools?

The Sky Pool (Level 66/59 area) is smaller and for photos/Jacuzzi; the Mosaic Pool (Podium Level R) is larger and better for actual swimming.

Are pets allowed?

No, pets are strictly prohibited.

Suggerimenti degli Insider

  • Visit the Sky Pool early in the morning (8 AM) to avoid the influencer crowds.

  • The 'Mosaic Pool' on the podium level is often empty because everyone goes to the roof.

  • Request a room with a bathtub; some lower-tier rooms only have showers.

5 cose da sapere prima di partire

  • 💡The 'classical music' playing on the TV when you enter is a nice touch but can't always be turned off easily.

  • 💡The lift system requires you to go to the ground floor to switch lifts for the car park—it's a maze.

  • 💡Some rooms have 'faux' windows or views blocked by architectural fins.

  • 💡The 'Baroque' furniture is sometimes more fragile than it looks; handle with care.

  • 💡Housekeeping can be hit-or-miss with restocking amenities like coffee pods.
