Seeing zebras and giraffes while I drank my morning coffee was a core memory. It feels like a true escape.

You will walk. A lot. The hallways are notoriously long, and if you're at the end of the Kudu Trail, it's a 10-minute trek to the lobby.

Yes, if you plan to spend time in the room. Waking up to a giraffe is the whole point. If you're in the parks all day, skip it and use the public balconies.
Can I walk to Animal Kingdom park?
No. Despite the name, it's not walkable. You must take a bus or ride-share.
Is the pool heated?
Yes, the Uzima Pool is heated to 82°F year-round and has zero-entry.
Are there hidden resort fees?
No daily resort fee, but Valet parking is ~$42/night (Self-parking is free).
How bad is the construction?
Kidani is active now. Jambo starts May 2026. If booking late 2026, ask for a room away from active work zones.
Can I use the pool at Kidani Village?
Yes, guests can use both the Uzima Pool (Jambo) and Samawati Springs Pool (Kidani).
