Per Què Agrada Tant

  • Direct Guadalupe River access with a private 1.5-acre river park
  • Elevated treehouse living connected by a 100-foot footbridge
  • Fully equipped with modern comforts like AC, WiFi, and full kitchens

Vista ràpida: It’s less 'Swiss Family Robinson' and more 'luxury cabin on stilts,' but the river access is unbeatable—just prepare for the sky cabins to sway in high winds.

Revisat per @tees_cravingsI stayed at these amazing treehouse cabins and had the best time with my dogs. The AC kept us cool, the BBQ setup was perfect for taco night, and the river is literally a two-minute walk away. Such a perfect, chill weekend escape!

The hype

Guests love the peaceful, elevated nature experience and the convenience of having the Guadalupe River right across the street.

Reality check

The spiral staircases to the lofts are narrow and steep, and some guests noted minor maintenance issues like mold in the shower.

  • You want to float the Guadalupe River without dealing with public park crowds
  • You're traveling with a dog (no pet fees for dogs!)
  • You love the idea of sleeping among 80-foot cypress trees

Neteja i Manteniment

8
  • Housekeeping: Generally well-maintained and clean upon arrival, though it's a self-catered cabin experience so don't expect daily maid service.
  • Bathroom hygiene: Mostly clean with walk-in tiled showers, though a few isolated reviews mentioned minor mold in the shower grout.
  • Maintenance: Modern construction and well-engineered, but the nature of being in the trees means occasional bugs and weathering.
  • Linens & towels: Quality sheets and fluffy towels are provided, which is a step up from typical rustic cabins.
  • Odors & scents: Fresh country air mixed with the natural, slightly earthy scent of the river and cypress trees.

  • 💡The spiral staircases leading to the lofts are quite narrow and steep.

  • 💡Sound travels incredibly well over the water, making the 11 PM quiet hours strictly necessary.

  • 💡You have to walk across a 100-foot suspension bridge over a dry creek to access five of the treehouses.

  • 💡There are no ramps or wheelchair-accessible bathrooms, and all lofts require climbing stairs.
