Miért szeretik az emberek

8.2551 értékelések
  • Spacious rooms with full kitchens
  • Very close to the F train for quick Manhattan access
  • Free daily breakfast buffet

Gyors áttekintés: It's a solid value for the space and proximity to Manhattan, but the immediate surrounding blocks feel gritty and industrial, especially at night.

Értékelte @reiya.reviewsI stayed at this TownePlace Suites in Long Island City and it's my new favorite NYC hack. Having a full kitchen with a dishwasher and massive fridge was amazing. The room was huge, modern, and so much better than paying double for a tiny box in Manhattan!

The hype

Guests praise the friendly staff, clean rooms, and convenient kitchenettes, making it a great base for exploring NYC.

Reality check

The immediate area lacks charm, and occasional lapses in housekeeping and street noise can detract from the stay.

  • You're traveling with family or staying extended periods and need a kitchen
  • You want quick subway access to Manhattan without Manhattan prices
  • You're traveling with pets (up to 2 allowed)

  • Odors & scents: Usually fresh, but a few guests have mentioned stale odors in the hallways or specific rooms.

Insider tippek

  • Skip the expensive hotel parking and look for nearby garages or street parking if you're willing to walk.

  • Take the Astoria Ferry from nearby Roosevelt Island for a scenic and cheap commute into Manhattan.

  • Grab a bite at Ramen Shack or Gordo's Cantina, both just a short walk away for much better food than the hotel breakfast.

5 dolog, amit tudnod kell az utazás előtt

  • 💡The walk to the subway involves navigating some gritty, industrial blocks that might make you walk faster at night.

  • 💡The 'Manhattan View' in the hotel's name is only visible from select high-floor rooms or the rooftop terrace.

  • 💡The pet fee is a flat $150, which is steep if you're only staying for one night.

  • 💡The bathrooms are quite compact, with combined shower and toilet spaces that can feel cramped.
