LeRosa Valley Resort

$130-220 / nit

Reserva-ho si You want a private pool villa in the Ubud jungle where monkeys might join you for breakfast, and you don't mind being a 15-minute shuttle ride from the town center.

Per Què Agrada Tant

  • Wild monkeys frequently visit the private pools and balconies (a highlight for most)
  • West-facing infinity pool offers stunning sunset views over the rice paddies
  • Complimentary afternoon tea and scheduled shuttles to Ubud center add real value

Vista ràpida: It is absolutely NOT in Canggu—this is a jungle retreat in Pejeng (Ubud) where the 'nightlife' is geckos and roosters, not beach clubs.

Revisat per @ourlittletravelblog_I stayed here with my family and it was the reset we needed. The infinity pool overlooking the rice fields is even better in person. It’s quiet, lush, and the kids absolutely loved the open space. Definitely a core memory trip for us.

The hype

Guests are obsessed with the private pools and the friendly staff (specifically mentioning 'Ela' and 'Angie'), but many are surprised by how 'wild' the jungle setting actually is.

Reality check

The 'jungle view' often includes a wake-up call from roosters at 4 AM and the occasional spider in the bathroom.

  • You are on a honeymoon and want a private pool without paying Four Seasons prices
  • You love wildlife and want to see monkeys from your balcony
  • You prefer a quiet, secluded base with a free shuttle to the action

Neteja i Manteniment

9
  • Housekeeping: Daily service is thorough, often twice a day (turn down service included).
  • Bathroom hygiene: Spotless, though the open-air design invites the occasional ant trail.
  • Maintenance: Newer property (built around 2023), so fixtures are modern and working well.
  • Linens & towels: Fresh and white, though humidity can make them feel slightly damp quickly.
  • Odors & scents: Smells like fresh rain and frangipani, with occasional whiffs of burning wood from neighbors.

Abans de reservar

Bon a saber

  • The hotel offers a free shuttle to Ubud center, but it runs on a schedule—plan accordingly.
  • Grab/Gojek drivers can drop off here, but pick-ups can sometimes be tricky due to the remote location.
  • The 'Monkey Tree Restaurant' is on-site if you don't want to leave for dinner.

Què portar

  • Earplugs (essential for the roosters)
  • Strong mosquito repellent (dengue is real in Ubud)
  • Universal travel adapter (Indonesian plugs are Type C/F)

Geni d'Habitacions

Millors opcions

  • One Bedroom Private Pool Villa with Valley View (West-facing for sunsets)
  • Villas on the upper terrace for better views and slightly less bug activity

Habitacions a evitar

  • Villas closest to the construction site (ask reception upon booking)
  • Lower-level rooms which can feel darker and damper

Geni de Sol·licitud d'Habitacions – copia i enganxa

I am booking specifically for the jungle views. Please assign a villa on the upper terrace, facing West for the sunset, and as far as possible from any active construction noise.

Consells de Professionals

  • Request a 'Floating Breakfast' in your private pool for the ultimate Instagram shot (extra charge).

  • The afternoon tea is free—don't miss it, it's usually served around 4 PM.

  • Rent a scooter from the hotel for cheaper rates than in town, but only if you are an experienced rider.

5 coses que cal saber abans de partir

  • 💡The 'Valley View' implies a steep drop-off; if you have vertigo, this might be intense.

  • 💡You will likely find gecko poop on the floor daily; it's unavoidable in open-air villas.

  • 💡The humidity in the valley means swimsuits take forever to dry—bring extras.

  • 💡The road to the hotel (Jalan Raya Laplapan) is narrow and dark at night.

  • 💡Staff will happily chase monkeys away if they get too bold, just call reception.
