  • The rooftop 'Pastel' bar is a legitimate destination, not just a hotel add-on
  • Saltwater pool on the 8th floor offers a rare breather from the Soi 11 chaos
  • Jacuzzi corner rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows that actually justify the upgrade

Stutt samantekt: A shiny, modern sanctuary that unfortunately can't entirely block out the thumping bass from its own rooftop bar.

Farið yfir af @explorewithkevsI felt like a total queen staying here. The corner room with the jacuzzi tub gave me the best skyline views I've ever seen in Bangkok. Plus, the rooftop pool and high tea were the perfect way to unwind after exploring the city. Highly recommend for a girls' trip!

The hype

Travelers love the modern design and location, but the noise complaints are consistent and specific.

Reality check

Multiple guests report that the 'soundproofing' can't handle the rooftop DJ or the street-level tuk-tuk races.

  • You plan to be out partying until 2 AM anyway
  • You want a 4-star experience for a 3-star price
  • You need a pool that actually gets sunlight (morning/mid-day)

Hreinlæti og viðhald

8.5
  • Housekeeping: Daily and generally thorough. Staff are responsive to requests.
  • Bathroom hygiene: Modern and mold-free in most reports. Grout lines are clean.
  • Maintenance: The hotel is relatively new (opened ~2022), so wear and tear is minimal.
  • Linens & towels: Crisp and white, though one isolated review mentioned a 'weird smell' on sheets.
  • Odors & scents: Lobby smells great; hallways can occasionally smell like food or cannabis from guests.

  • Thumping bass from Pastel Rooftop Bar (floors 20-22)
  • Traffic and music from Soi 11 street bars

Gott að vita

  • A 2,000 THB cash deposit is required at check-in (credit card hold also possible)
  • The hotel is strictly non-smoking, but the balconies in some suites are a gray area
  • The walk to Nana BTS is about 5-7 minutes, but the hotel offers a free tuk-tuk shuttle

Hvað á að pakka

  • High-fidelity earplugs (Loop or similar)
  • Waterproof sandals (for the rainy season street floods)
  • Swimsuit for the saltwater pool (it's worth it)

Herbergis-Genie

Bestu val

  • Premier Corner Room (mid-levels 10-18) for the best balance of view and relative quiet
  • Jacuzzi Corner Room if you want the 'influencer' bath shot

Herbergi til að forðast

  • 21st floor rooms (directly under the bar)
  • Low floors (2-6) facing the street (traffic noise)

Herbergisbeiðna-Genie – afrita og líma

I am requesting a room on a mid-level floor (10-18) facing AWAY from the main street to minimize traffic noise. Please ensure I am NOT placed on the 20th or 21st floor directly under the rooftop bar.

Algengar spurningar og falin ábendingar

Allt sem þú vilt vita áður en þú bókar.

Is the pool actually usable?

Yes, it's a saltwater pool on the 8th floor. It's 92sqm and clean, but sunbeds are limited and get claimed early.

How bad is the noise from the rooftop bar?

If you are on the top floors (20-21), it is significant until 1:30 AM. Lower floors are safer from the bass but exposed to street noise.

Is breakfast included?

Not usually in the base rate. It costs ~470 THB ($13) per person. It's served at Kingston Lounge and includes Indian options.

Can I bring a guest?

Yes, the hotel is generally guest-friendly (joiner-friendly) without extra fees, but ID is required at the front desk.

Is the area safe?

Safe but chaotic. Soi 11 is a major nightlife hub. Expect crowds, loud music, and aggressive touts, but physical safety is generally high.

Does the hotel have a gym?

Yes, on the 8th floor. It's compact but functional with modern cardio machines and free weights.

Innherja ábendingar

  • The breakfast at Kingston Lounge has surprisingly good Indian dishes (parathas, curry) due to the ownership's connection to the Bawarchi restaurant chain.

  • Don't buy the overpriced water in the room; there's a 7-Eleven literally 1 minute away.

  • The 'free' tuk-tuk shuttle to the BTS station runs on a loop, but it's often faster to walk if traffic is gridlocked (which it usually is).

5 hlutir sem þú ættir að vita áður en þú ferð

  • 💡The 'saltwater' pool is much gentler on the skin than the usual chlorine bombs in Bangkok hotels.

  • 💡The elevator system can be slow during peak evening hours when outside guests are flooding up to the rooftop bar.

  • 💡The 'city view' often includes a direct line of sight into the neighboring apartment complex—keep your curtains drawn.

  • 💡The lobby scent is a custom 'Thai-modern' fragrance that is pleasant but intense.

  • 💡You can hear the BTS skytrain rumble from some of the rear-facing rooms, though it's rhythmic compared to the street noise.
