  • Floor-to-ceiling windows with panoramic bay or river views
  • The 'Chef's Live Kitchen' breakfast buffet is legendary
  • Direct access to the Yurikamome line for Odaiba excursions

Vista ràpida: A view-heavy, amenity-light hotel where the 'Classic' rooms feel stuck in 1995 but the 'Premium' rooms feel like a steal.

Revisat per @BryanG5705151I spent nights in $30 hostels just to afford this splurge, and wow. The moment I opened those blinds to see Rainbow Bridge, I knew I made the right choice. The staff were so sweet, and the room felt huge for Tokyo. 10/10 would do this strategy again.

The hype

Guests are obsessed with the views and the club lounge food, but consistently disappointed by the small, basic gym and dated standard rooms.

Reality check

If you don't book a renovated 'Premium' room, you will likely feel like you overpaid for a room that hasn't changed since the hotel opened.

  • You are a 'view junkie' who wants to stare at the Rainbow Bridge all night
  • You plan to spend a lot of time in Odaiba or are catching a cruise
  • You appreciate a high-end Club Lounge experience (Nagomi Lounge is excellent)

Neteja i Manteniment

8.8
  • Housekeeping: Generally excellent daily service; Japanese standards of tidiness are maintained.
  • Bathroom hygiene: Spotless in renovated rooms; older rooms sometimes show grout discoloration or stubborn water stains.
  • Maintenance: Common areas are pristine. 'Classic' rooms show wear on furniture edges and carpet seams.
  • Linens & towels: Crisp, white, and high quality. No complaints here.
  • Odors & scents: Lobby smells expensive. Non-smoking rooms are fresh, but some older floors have a faint 'vintage hotel' mustiness.

  • Hallway chatter due to gaps under doors
  • Occasional boat horns (rare but possible)

Abans de reservar

Bon a saber

  • There is a free shuttle bus to Hamamatsucho Station (JR Yamanote Line) every 20-30 mins.
  • The 'Nagomi Lounge' is a separate, Japanese-style lounge often worth the upgrade price.
  • Convenience stores (FamilyMart) are located in the adjacent office building, not inside the hotel lobby.

Què portar

  • Universal travel adapter (older rooms have limited outlets)
  • Walking shoes (it's a 10-minute walk to the nearest JR station if you miss the shuttle)
  • Camera with a good low-light lens for the night views

Geni d'Habitacions

Millors opcions

  • Premium Bay View (Renovated, modern decor, stunning Rainbow Bridge view)
  • Junior Suite River View (Corner rooms with dual-aspect views of Sumida River and Skytree)

Habitacions a evitar

  • Classic Twin/King (Non-renovated, dated furniture, worn carpets)
  • Low-floor City View (Stares at office buildings/highway, dark)

Geni de Sol·licitud d'Habitacions – copia i enganxa

I am celebrating a special occasion and kindly request a 'Premium' renovated room on a high floor facing the Rainbow Bridge. Please avoid the unrenovated 'Classic' rooms if possible.

Preguntes freqüents i consells amagats

Tot allò que realment vols saber abans de reservar.

Is there a swimming pool?

No. Despite what some third-party booking sites might imply, there is no pool on the property.

How do I get to the nearest subway?

Takeshiba Station (Yurikamome Line) is directly connected. For JR lines, take the free hotel shuttle or walk 10 mins to Hamamatsucho Station.

Is the Club Lounge worth it?

Yes. It's widely considered one of the better value lounges in Tokyo with substantial food offerings and incredible views.

Are the rooms renovated?

Only specific categories. 'Premium' and 'Executive' floors are renovated. 'Classic' rooms are generally not.

Does the hotel have an airport shuttle?

Yes, the Airport Limousine Bus stops here (approx. 3,600 JPY to Narita), but check the schedule as it's less frequent than at major hubs.

Is it good for families?

It's decent, but the lack of a pool and the business-district location make it less 'fun' for kids than hotels in Odaiba or near Disney.

Consells de Professionals

  • The 'River View' rooms often have a better view of the Tokyo Skytree than the 'Bay View' rooms.

  • You can walk along the boardwalk to Hinode Pier for a water bus ride to Asakusa.

  • Join IHG One Rewards before booking; they often honor late check-out (2pm) even for base-tier members here.

5 coses que cal saber abans de partir

  • 💡The 'Classic' bathrooms have those old-school yellow-tinted hair dryers attached to the wall.

  • 💡The walk to Hamamatsucho station involves a pedestrian deck that can be windy and cold in winter.

  • 💡The hotel scent in the lobby is amazing, but it disappears the moment you step into the elevators.

  • 💡Room service prices are surprisingly reasonable compared to other 5-star Tokyo hotels.

  • 💡The 'Chef's Live Kitchen' buffet has a hidden 'freshly squeezed mont blanc' dessert station that always has a line.
