Reality check
The 'heated' pools are hit-or-miss in winter (Dec-Feb), and the WiFi in the bungalows is often non-existent.

- You don't mind buffet dining for every meal

Is the WiFi actually usable?
Barely. It works okay in the lobby and some restaurants, but is notoriously weak or dead inside the bungalow rooms. Buy a local SIM card at the airport.
Can we walk to the beach?
Technically yes, but it's a long, hot 20-minute walk crossing a main road. Everyone takes the free shuttle bus.
Is the food good?
It's edible but repetitive. Think 'school cafeteria' quantity over quality. Stick to the fresh pasta station or grilled items for the best bet.
Are the pools heated?
Only select pools are heated in the winter months. The main aqua park water can be freezing in January/February.
Is there alcohol?
Yes, local beer, wine, and spirits are included. They are served in small plastic cups at the pool. Imported alcohol costs extra.
