Welcome to paradise at South Palm Resort in the Maldives. My stay started with a scenic walk down the iconic wooden jetty, surrounded by the incredible turquoise lagoon of Addu Atoll. I checked out the Water Villa with Private Pool first – the king bed looks right out to the ocean, and the deck is massive. The private pool is the star here; perfect for cooling off while watching the horizon. I also loved the Palm Villa on Sunrise Beach, which has a cozy terrace and a swing right on the sand. Finally, the Water Villa with Jacuzzi offers a different vibe with a relaxing hot tub and an overwater net hammock that makes for the best nap spot. It’s the ultimate romantic escape.
