  • Largest rooftop pool deck in downtown San Diego
  • Literal steps from Petco Park for Padres games
  • Laid-back, unpretentious vibe compared to stiffer luxury hotels

A detailed walkthrough of a Two Queen Bed room at the Margaritaville Hotel San Diego Gaslamp Quarter. The creator highlights the hotel's prime location for concert-goers, being just a short walk from Petco Park. Key features showcased include the whimsical tropical decor (parrot lamps, whale tail sink handles), a surprisingly deep closet that functions as a walk-in, and standard amenities like a Keurig coffee maker and mini-fridge. The creator specifically recommends the 4th floor for its convenience, offering direct access to the ice maker, elevator, and the pool deck/bar area. The review provides a balanced perspective, noting a design flaw where the desk chair blocks the path between the bed and the wall, and honestly showing the underwhelming street view of a loading zone, emphasizing that the value lies in the location and interior vibe rather than the scenery.

Okay, haven't done one of these in a while, but a hotel room tour. And this one is Margaritaville in downtown San Diego. We were here for the Chris Brown concert. It's actually just a like a few minute walk from Petco, so it was a perfect spot. I got the fourth floor because the bar was right there. And we got a two queen bed room. The room was pretty standard size, but I think it was pretty big for what it was. Here's the bathroom and a moment for the sink because it was just so cute with their little design. The decor, they legit spend like a lot of time on very small items, I guess you could say. But it's so cute. Like this just makes me happy in general. I love a good sliding door. On top of the normal space we had, the closet was actually very, very deep. So you see there, but I didn't walk inside, but the moment you walk inside over to the left, there it's like a walk-in. So there's like lots and lots of rooms. Hello. Like I said, there's lots of detail. So if you see the bed, I actually zoom in a little bit closer there. You see little parrots. Isn't that cute? The room had standard items, so like the coffee, the fridge, the ice chest. So we were in like the perfect room cause honestly, if you walk right out the door, the ice maker was actually right there. On top of it being right there, if you go further down, the elevator is right there and the door to the pool, which is where the bar is. So I think we had the perfect room, let alone like the perfect floor. I don't know why I was opening these drawers, honestly. I think I was just kind of curious. The only thing that was a little hard to use was that chair there. It was like directly in front of the bed, so it was really hard to get in and out. So instead I used that chair in the corner or this bench here was like the best area. Not the best view, but this is downtown San Diego. So yay, goodbye.
