Okay, so we hit up Fairmont Montebello which claims to be the biggest log building ever. It's all rustic vibes with those black painted logs on the outside but inside it's all that natural wood feel. The lobby is a real showstopper, all around and fancy with this three-story setup wrapped around a massive stone fireplace. So we went ahead upstairs. Our room's pretty spacious with two double beds plus a sofa bed, but that bathroom's tiny. Barely any space for your stuff. But they hooked us up with this sweet birthday treat, mainly local goodies, it was such a vibe. We snagged a map cause we were itching to explore the hood. We roamed the whole area, it's massive. It's got that real cozy woodsy vibe and is smack in the middle of nature with a river on one side and trees everywhere. You can come chill by the bonfire every night and no need to book, it's all part of the resort deal. And you can score some s'mores too, how sick is that? Kids running around and look at those leaves start showing off their colors. The Chateau turns into a chill spot of total autumn vibes. It's all about that fall magic. Back inside we scoped out the other areas and grabbed spots. This place giving off a major retreat vibe. The whole vibe here is just so different, in a good way. Next morning we wanted to hit the pool. They have a massive indoor pool in a separate log cabin and you gotta go through this tunnel to get there. They have these painted totem poles holding up the roof and it's like a whole pool vibe waiting at the end of the tunnel. But it turns out it's getting some work done so no luck there. So just chilled by the fireplace, checked out the gift shop, got this tumbler as a souvenir. And Vic, their canine ambassador gave us a sweet goodbye. See ya around.
