Reality check
The 'Junior Suites' are all on the South side (the busy/shallow beach side), so if you book the entry-level room, you are far from the best beach.
- You have active kids who need a massive club and endless activities
- You want a 'resort bubble' experience with 5 restaurants and zero need to drive
- You enjoy long walks (the property is 120 hectares)

Is the beach swimmable?
North Beach (Port Launay) is excellent for swimming and snorkeling year-round. South Beach is very shallow and rocky—good for kayaking, bad for swimming.
Do I need a car?
Not really. The resort is self-contained. If you want to explore Mahe, renting a car for 1-2 days is cheaper than taxis, but most guests stay on property.
Are the bikes free?
Only for Villa guests. If you are in a Suite, you must rent them from the fitness center (approx. $10/day).
Is there construction going on?
Yes. Significant renovation works are confirmed from Jan 12, 2026, through Dec 16, 2026. Noise is likely Mon-Sat during the day.
Which side is better, North or South?
North is superior for luxury, quiet, and swimming. South is the 'hub' with the main pool, reception, and kids club, but feels more crowded.
