Reality check
The 'Preferred' rooms near the pool are deafeningly loud; the 'Standard' rooms in Mighty Ducks are a hike but peaceful.
- You have kids under 10 who think a 35-foot Buzz Lightyear is peak culture
- You just need a clean place to crash after 12 hours in the parks
- You want Disney perks (Early Entry, free parking) without the $500 price tag

- Bathroom hygiene: Generally clean, but watch for 'drain gnats' in ground floor units. Grout is usually white thanks to recent renos.

- Linens & towels: Standard hotel white. Clean but scratchy. Not luxury thread count.

Is there a coffee maker in the room?
Yes! The renovated rooms now include a Cuisinart dual-cup coffee maker. This is a huge upgrade from the old days.
Can I walk to the parks?
No. You are bus-dependent. The only thing you can walk to is McDonald's (about 10-15 mins).
Is there a hot tub?
No. Value resorts at Disney do not have hot tubs or slides at the pools.
Does the room have a microwave?
No. There is a microwave in the food court for public use, but not in standard rooms.
Are the pools heated?
Yes, all Disney pools are heated to roughly 82°F year-round.
Can I use the pools at other All-Star resorts?
Yes! You can pool hop between Movies, Music, and Sports. Music sometimes has a movie screen by the pool too.

If the bus line for Movies is insane at Magic Kingdom, hop on the All-Star Music bus. It's often shorter, and the walk from the Music drop-off to the Mighty Ducks section of Movies is only 5-7 minutes.
