Videotur av @visit_sf: I stayed at the Argonaut and it’s easily my favorite spot in SF. The nautical theme isn't cheesy—it's gorgeous with all that exposed brick. Being able to walk to Ghirardelli for chocolate and then cozy up by the lobby fireplace was the perfect city break.

My stay at the Argonaut Hotel in San Francisco was the perfect mix of history and luxury. Located right in the iconic Haslett Warehouse building at Fisherman's Wharf, the vibe is instantly welcoming with warm exposed brick and a crackling fireplace in the lobby that makes you forget the busy streets outside. My room continued that nautical theme—think navy blues, brass details, and a super comfy bed that felt like a captain's quarters. We started our mornings with a massive breakfast spread at the Blue Mermaid right downstairs before heading out. The location is insane; the Hyde Street cable car turnaround is literally at the doorstep. We walked over to Ghirardelli Square for sundaes, checked out the sea lions at Pier 39, and just soaked up the waterfront energy. The absolute best part? ending the day watching the sun dip behind the Golden Gate Bridge. It’s the ideal home base if you want to tick off all the big SF sights without sacrificing comfort.
