Is this hotel on Nusa Lembongan?
No. It is on Nusa Penida. You need to take a fast boat to Penida (Toyapakeh or Banjar Nyuh harbor) to reach it.
How bad is the road really?
It is one of the worst on the island. Broken concrete, mud, and steep inclines. Many drivers refuse to go down it in heavy rain.
Is there air conditioning?
Yes, the domes have AC, but it stops working during the frequent island power cuts.
Can I swim in front of the hotel?
Yes, but it's better for snorkeling. The current can be strong, so fins are recommended.
Are there restaurants nearby?
Very few. You are mostly captive to the hotel restaurant or the nearby Amok Sunset (which is a hike or rough drive away).
Is it private?
During the day, tour boats drop snorkelers in the bay. After 5pm, it is completely private and secluded.
