Yes. It's clean, but the black volcanic sand bottom makes it look dark blue/grey, not the typical Caribbean turquoise.

Is the boat transfer worth the upgrade?
100%. It cuts the travel time to 20 minutes and saves you from a nausea-inducing hour-long van ride.
