Roomer

Bingin High Tide

Prenota se You're a surfer or ocean-lover who wants to wake up with the waves practically crashing into your living room.

Perché piace così tanto

  • Unbeatable oceanfront location—you are literally on the water
  • Private terrace with front-row seats to the Bingin surf break
  • Spacious two-bedroom layout that feels like a home, not a hotel room

In sintesi: A stunning cliffside beach shack that requires a glute-busting hike to reach and offers zero escape from the roar of the ocean.

Recensito da @WithtiarneI stayed here for a few nights and it was pure magic. Waking up to the sound of waves and showering with that insane view of the Indian Ocean was the highlight of my Bali trip. If you need to recharge, this is the spot.

The hype

Reality check

The stairs are a serious physical challenge, and the ocean roar can be overwhelming for light sleepers.

  • You surf and want to check the waves from your pillow
  • You're fit and don't mind a daily stair workout
  • You want a private, apartment-style setup with a kitchen

Pulizia e manutenzione

9
  • Housekeeping: Daily cleaning is typically included and rated highly by guests.
  • Bathroom hygiene: Modern and clean, though humidity can cause minor mildew if not aired out.
  • Maintenance: Well-maintained for a beach property, but salt air takes a toll on fixtures.
  • Linens & towels: Fresh and clean, often noted as 'crisp' in reviews.
  • Odors & scents: Smells like the ocean (salty, fresh), no musty complaints found.

FAQ e consigli nascosti

Tutto ciò che vuoi davvero sapere prima di prenotare.

Is there a pool?

No private pool on-site. You swim in the ocean, which is right at your doorstep.

How bad are the stairs?

intense. About 150+ steep, uneven steps. It takes 10-15 minutes to get back up to the road.

Is there air conditioning?

Yes, the bedrooms are air-conditioned, which is crucial for the humid Bali nights.

Can I park my scooter there?

No. You park at the public lot at the top of the cliff (approx. 5,000 IDR/day) and walk down.

Is breakfast included?

Typically no, as it's a self-catering villa, but Kelly's Warung and other cafes are steps away.

Is it safe for kids?

Not recommended for toddlers due to the steep stairs and open terraces/balconies over the rocks.

Suggerimenti degli Insider

  • Hire a porter for your bags (approx. 50k-100k IDR); do not attempt to carry a 20kg suitcase down yourself.

  • Buy groceries at the top of the cliff before descending; you won't want to walk back up for snacks.

  • The sunset view from your private terrace rivals any expensive beach club in Uluwatu.

5 cose da sapere prima di partire

  • 💡The 'shower' pressure can fluctuate wildly depending on water supply on the cliff.

  • 💡Monkeys sometimes patrol the rooftops; keep your terrace doors locked when you're out.

  • 💡At super high tide, the beach below basically disappears.

  • 💡Getting a GoJek/Grab to pick you up from the parking lot can be tricky; local taxi mafias sometimes block them.

  • 💡The WiFi is surprisingly decent, but power outages on the Bukit peninsula do happen.
