Pourquoi les gens l'adorent

8.8329 avis
  • Stunning modern design with warm wood and yellow accents
  • Incredible cleanliness standards (opened May 2023)
  • Quiet location near Utsubo Park, away from the Dotonbori chaos

En bref : A stylish, grown-up hotel that trades the madness of Namba for a peaceful night's sleep and a killer shower.

Évalué par @shesgoingglobalI absolutely loved the layout of this room at Voco. Having a plush King bed for sleeping and a separate raised Tatami area for relaxing gave me the best of both worlds. It felt like my own private sanctuary in the middle of Osaka.

Ce que les clients qui ont séjourné ici ont dit

The hype

Travelers universally praise the chic design and spotless rooms, but often wish the breakfast service was more efficient.

Reality check

The 'Grand' rooms are spacious, but the standard rooms are tight (21 sqm) and the 'privacy glass' rooms feel claustrophobic to some.

  • You appreciate 'new hotel smell' and modern aesthetics
  • You prefer a quiet, local vibe over being in the tourist center
  • You need a high-quality mattress and dead silence to sleep

Propreté et entretien

9.4
  • Housekeeping: Impeccable daily service; guests consistently cite 'spotless' conditions.
  • Bathroom hygiene: Sparkling. New grout, no mold, high-tech toilets are pristine.
  • Maintenance: Brand new building (2023), so everything works perfectly. No peeling paint or leaks.
  • Linens & towels: Fresh, crisp, and high quality. One report of a 'smell' was an isolated incident.
  • Odors & scents: Fresh signature scent in lobby; rooms are neutral and odor-free.

Avant de réserver

Bon à savoir

  • The hotel is in a business district (Kyomachibori), so weekends are very quiet but some local lunch spots may close.
  • It is a 5-minute walk to Higobashi or Yodoyabashi metro stations.
  • There is no pool or spa on site.

Quoi emporter

  • Universal travel adapter (though USB ports are plentiful)
  • Walking shoes (it's a bit of a walk to the main tourist drags)
  • Google Translate app for local menus in the neighborhood

Génie des chambres

Meilleurs choix

  • Grand Room (Corner) for dual-aspect windows and maximum light
  • Grand Room with Tatami for a mix of Western comfort and Japanese style

Chambres à éviter

  • Standard Queen rooms with 'privacy glass' (ask to avoid these if you want a view)
  • Rooms near the elevator bank

Génie de demande de chambre – copier & coller

I am looking forward to my stay. Please assign a room with clear glass windows (not frosted/privacy glass) and as high a floor as possible. A corner room would be appreciated if available.

FAQ et astuces cachées

Tout ce que vous voulez vraiment savoir avant de réserver.

Is there a coin laundry in the hotel?

No. There is only a paid laundry/dry cleaning service. You will need to find a public laundromat nearby for self-service.

How far is Dotonbori?

About 10-15 minutes by taxi or 20 minutes via the Yotsubashi Line (Higobashi to Namba).

Does the hotel provide pajamas?

Yes, guests rave about the separate top-and-bottom pajama sets provided in the room.

Is breakfast included?

Depends on your rate. It's a half-buffet style at Lokal House (approx. 3,400 JPY if paid separately).

Can I open the windows?

Generally no, windows are fixed for safety, and some are frosted for privacy.

Is it family friendly?

Moderately. They provide cribs and kids' amenities, but the rooms are on the smaller side for families of 4+.

Conseils d'initiés

  • Filtered water refill stations are located on every floor—bring the glass bottle from your room.

  • The 'Grand Room with Terrace' is one of the few hotel rooms in Osaka with actual outdoor space.

  • Lokal House (the restaurant) has a great happy hour vibe that locals actually use.

5 choses à savoir avant de partir

  • 💡The 'privacy glass' in some rooms means you literally cannot see outside—it feels like a light box.

  • 💡The quilt covers on the beds can be surprisingly 'crinkly' and noisy when you move.

  • 💡The lobby smells incredible—a signature Voco scent that guests try to buy.

  • 💡You are right next to Utsubo Park, which has a stunning rose garden that tourists miss.

  • 💡The bamboo toothbrushes provided are eco-friendly but can feel a bit rough compared to plastic.
