The other week we checked into the brand new Hampton Inn & Suites in the Illinois Medical District for a dog friendly staycation. Finding a dog friendly hotel in the city that welcomes large dogs like Oreo is rare so I was super excited when I found out she could join us. We loved taking the dogs on a walk through the neighborhood and the skyline views were a bonus. The hotel also has an indoor pool and yes I brought my own pool float. Our suite-style room had a full living area and work space which made it easy to squeeze in some remote work. We loved the complimentary breakfast that included a waffle station with cinnamon roll batter. If you're visiting Chicago with pets or just looking for a modern stay this is the spot for you!
