Valentin El Patriarca Varadero
@SarahGallagher 的视频导览: I've been to Cuba 8 times, and this resort is a favorite despite the shortages. The staff made our girls' trip so special, and the aqua show was mind-blowing. Yes, bring toilet paper and a flashlight, but the beach and vibes are 100% worth it. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

A candid and comprehensive review of Valentin El Patriarca Varadero, filmed in April 2023 by an experienced Cuba traveler. This video serves as an essential guide for managing expectations when visiting Varadero during economic struggles. The creator highlights the resort's circular layout, which offers easy beach access but can be confusing to navigate. Key amenities like the beach bar, coffee shop (serving boozy coffee), and the 'best aqua show ever seen' are praised. However, the review is brutally honest about current challenges: guests are advised to wake up early to secure beach chairs, bring flashlights for unlit paths at night, and pack tissues due to toilet paper shortages. The food situation is described as inconsistent, ranging from decent variety to 'hot dogs on toast' depending on shipments. Despite the lack of luxury amenities and poor WiFi, the creator strongly recommends the resort for its incredible staff, vibrant adults-only nightlife, and the stunning beach, appealing to travelers who value connection and culture over perfection.

if you're booking a trip to Cuba and you wanna know more about where is best to stay I just got back from my own all inclusive resort where I stayed in Varadero I stayed at Valentín El Patriarca don't know if I'm saying that right and here's my little hotel review I wanna give travelers a better idea of what to expect when you come here I'm quite experienced in Cuba this is actually my 4th resort that I've been to and I cannot say enough positive things about Valentín Varadero El Patriarca so first off I really liked the layout of the resort because it wasn't too far from the beach everything was in walking distance even if you didn't get like beachside accommodation it was still super easy to walk down one thing I would say though is because it's shaped like a circle it was easy to get lost because everything kind of looks the same so for the beach I would really recommend waking up early and putting a towel to secure in a seat Cuba is struggling economically right now and I did notice that they had a lot less lounger chairs than I normally experienced so we just brought towels and that totally worked for us there were still huts to find shade under so this resort has a beach bar as soon as you enter made it really easy to just walk up and get some cocktails the beach does have a couple lifeguards and they have a flag system when it's too dangerous to go out and swim it'll say like green safe or red not safe and for the nightlife this is an adults only resort so it's a little bit more poppin I love the staff they really made it special they did this little trick for us pause to read if you want to see what kind of drinks are available at the hotel lobby bar they also had a disco a lot of fun to go out but I would warn female travelers bring a flashlight because it was super dark when we left and try to use a buddy system for safety because they had street lamps but they never lit them one thing that I thought was super cool about this resort is they actually had like a little coffee shop where you could get boozy coffee or just regular coffee for the morning and it was actually really good okay and for the Wi Fi it was free for the resort but it was actually kind of just bad so I ended up getting roam like home anyways because we were a big group and we need to be able to contact each other okay the hotel staff was super nice the gardener was really sweet and they actually cut down some coconuts and gave them to us this resort also had an amazing entertainment like the best aqua show I've ever seen and every night they had some kind of show going on or daily activities for entertainment your all inclusive package also comes with 3 alucards or fancy dinners but they book up super fast so when you get there make sure that you try and make a reservation or you won't be able to do them which leads me to food I know Cuba has a really bad rep for food so I wanted to leave this one last cause there's so many other good things about it but for context this is April 2023 and they are going through a lot of food charges right now some days there was a good variety but other days I guess they didn't get a shipment or something and it would be like hot dogs on toast they are also going through a toilet paper shortage at the moment we did get one roll when we started but it was best to just bring a thing of Kleenex because a lot of the washrooms that you went to around the resort and in the city just didn't have any that being said I've been to Cuba 8 times and I would really recommend this resort in particular I don't think any of the food shortages are reflective of the actual resort itself Cuba is just hurting right now and it's a beautiful country so you should definitely check it out and do some research if you have any other questions about other resorts I stayed at let me know and comment below
