This was my escape to Taj Coral Reef Resort & Spa in the Maldives, and it exceeded every expectation. The journey started with a scenic speedboat ride, and the water color from the plane was unreal. As soon as we docked, the staff welcomed us with traditional necklaces – such a warm touch. I loved the outdoor shower in our villa; it felt so tropical to rinse off under the sun. The best part was just walking the boardwalk at sunset and seeing the sky turn pink over the water villas. We even spotted a resident grey heron chilling on the beach! If you're looking for romance, the private teepee dinner setup on the sand is a must-do experience.
