Responsibilities
- Building high load services
- Making the search and booking process easier, faster and secure
- Increasing the efficiency of the marketplace itself by developing products that improve our performance and help us reach goals through better pricing, availability and scale
- Keeping our automation and unit tests green
Requirements
- At least 4 Years' experience and strong passion in building global websites 2 years in Ruby/Python/PHP
- Strong industry experience in architecture and development of scalable B2C production quality backend systems.
- Exposure to architectural patterns of large, high-scale web applications
- Exceptional proficiency using HTML/CSS/Javascript/AJAX
- Rigor in A/B testing, automated testing, and other engineering best practices
- Understanding of relational database schema design and performance tuning
- Performance bench marking and diagnostic tools like New Relic
- Deep knowledge of Amazon Web Services ecosystem
- Experience with service oriented architectures
- Familiarity with Redis, Memcached, CDN
- Management skills and Analytical thinking
- B.Sc in computer science / software engineering
