Hilton Grand Vacations Club Elara Center Strip

$180-350/ night

Book this if You want a smoke-free, casino-free 'condo' on the Strip where you can cook breakfast and wash your clothes.

Why People Love It

8.7874 reviews
  • Direct indoor access to Miracle Mile Shops & Planet Hollywood
  • Floor-to-ceiling windows with projector screens in suites
  • No casino smoke or maze to navigate to your room

Quick Take: It’s a high-end timeshare that feels like a swanky apartment complex, not a full-service hotel.

Reviewed by @advntrsntrvlI stayed in the 1 Bedroom Grand and was obsessed with the jacuzzi right next to my king bed. The floor-to-ceiling strip views were incredible, and having a full kitchen made this feel like a luxury apartment, not just a hotel room.

Guest Who Stayed Here Said

The hype

Travelers love the huge rooms and kitchenettes but hate the lack of daily cleaning and the aggressive timeshare vibe in the lobby.

Reality check

You will likely wait 10+ minutes for an elevator, and if you're in a studio, you don't get the cool projector TV or in-unit washer/dryer.

  • You are traveling with a group or family and need a kitchen
  • You hate walking through smoky casinos to get coffee
  • You want a quiet(er) pool scene without a DJ blasting EDM

Cleanliness & Maintenance

8.5
  • Housekeeping: The biggest complaint. Expect 'trash and towel' service only, not full cleaning, unless you pay extra.
  • Bathroom hygiene: Generally good, though jetted tubs in suites often have reports of 'residue' from previous guests.
  • Maintenance: Solid. The building is relatively modern (2009), so less 'old Vegas' wear and tear.
  • Linens & towels: Standard Hilton quality. Clean, crisp, but not luxury plush.
  • Odors & scents: Wonderfully neutral. No cigarette smoke, no heavy floral cover-up scents.

Sleepability™

7.5SILENT
SILENT
0-4LOUD
4-7.5MODERATE
7.5-10SILENT
  • Elevator mechanical noise (if near the shaft)
  • Thin connecting doors between suites
  • Sirens from the Strip (if on lower floors)

Before you book

Good to know

  • Studios have kitchenettes (microwave/toaster), Suites have full kitchens (stove/dishwasher).
  • Washer/dryers are ONLY in 1-bedroom suites and larger; studios use a communal laundry room.
  • The 'projector TV' is only in the suites, not the studios.

What to pack

  • Laundry detergent pods (if in a suite)
  • Coffee grounds/filters (the in-room coffee is weak/limited)
  • Your own pool towel if you plan to head down late (they run out)

Room Genie

Best picks

  • High floor (40+) North-facing 1-Bedroom Suite for Bellagio fountain views
  • Corner suites for the 'red room' tinted window vibe

Rooms to avoid

  • Rooms ending in '00' or near the elevator bank (noisy)
  • Low floors facing the pool (noise during the day, view of a roof at night)

Room Request Genie – copy & paste

Requesting a high floor (26+) in the North Tower facing the Strip. Please ensure room is away from the elevator shaft.

FAQ & Hidden tips

Everything you actually want to know before you book.

Is there a casino inside?

No. It is 100% non-gaming and non-smoking. You have to walk to Planet Hollywood for gambling.

Does the window projector really work?

Yes, in the suites. The blackout shade doubles as a massive screen. It's cool, but the image quality isn't 4K cinema level.

Is parking free?

No. Self-parking is ~$25/night and Valet is ~$35/night. It used to be free, but that ended.

Can I use the pool year-round?

No. The pool is seasonal and typically closes from November to March.

How bad is the timeshare pitch?

Annoying. They will try to stop you near the elevators to offer 'free show tickets' in exchange for a tour. Just say 'No thanks' and keep moving.

Is there room service?

Limited. There is no traditional 24/7 hotel room service, but you can order food from local restaurants via apps.

Insider Tips

  • Use the 'secret' mall entrance near the lobby Starbucks to get into Miracle Mile without going outside.

  • If the lobby elevators are packed, sometimes the service elevator is opened for guests—ask a bellman.

  • You get a 'DVD rental card' at check-in—there are kiosks in the lobby to rent unlimited movies (old school but free).

5 things to know before you go

  • 💡The windows are tinted red/pink in some rooms, which makes your photos look weird.

  • 💡There is no spa on-site; you have to go to Planet Hollywood.

  • 💡The 'Grand' lobby is actually on the 2nd floor; the ground floor is just valet.

  • 💡You might find a stray hair or two; housekeeping is rushed due to the high turnover of huge suites.

  • 💡The pool deck gets zero sun in the late afternoon due to the building's shadow.
