Join us for a realistic family weekend at Harrison Hot Springs Resort. We started our trip escaping the city hustle, grabbing a warm bowl of Pho and some gelato in the village before checking in. We stayed in the Heritage Building—I give a full honest tour of the room, which is definitely vintage and basic, but comfortable enough for sleeping. The real highlight, however, is the access to the mineral pools. We spent hours soaking, which was amazing for the kids and for our stress levels. We also explored the massive playground by the lake and grabbed dinner at Lakeview. Even when the weather turned rainy the next morning, the hot pools were incredible. We wrapped up the trip with a visit to the Sasquatch Museum and Castle Fun Park. This is the perfect itinerary for a value-conscious family looking to unwind.

Taking a break from the hustle and bustle of city life for some much needed downtime. Our adventure began with a delicious lunch at Pho, where the rich and savory flavors of the broth set the perfect tone for the rest of the day. Followed by a visit to the Village Mall where we indulged in some refreshing gelato. We then checked into the Harrison Hot Springs Resort, booking two rooms in the Heritage Building. True to its name, the Heritage Building offered a quaint and vintage charm. Our rooms weren't fancy but had the basics. It featured a queen size bed, a single bed, a closet with extra pillows, a fan to keep things cool, a decent bathroom, and a coffee station. While not fancy, the accommodations were comfortable and met our needs. But the highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the spring pools. Pure bliss. Anyway, our primary goal was to relax and it did not disappoint. The kiddos loved the warmth of the pool and we all felt the stress melt away as we soaked in the mineral rich waters. After chilling in the pools, we strolled around and hit up the playground. The place was packed with bright and fun equipment and they were all over the slides, laughing and having a blast. We snagged a comfy bench while we took in the scenic views and enjoyed the gentle breeze. For dinner, we dined at Lakeview Restaurant, then we crashed back at the hotel. The next morning, despite the gloomy and rainy weather, we found the steamy pool to be incredibly inviting. After checking out, we headed to the Sasquatch Museum, grabbed some sushi for lunch, then Castle Fun Park. See you around.
