Welcome to the Parrotel Beach Resort in Sharm El-Sheikh, a property that perfectly balances relaxation with vibrant Egyptian culture. The grounds are expansive, featuring manicured gardens and towering palms that lead you toward the main attraction: the massive swimming pool complex. I found the pool area bustling but spacious enough to find a spot, with bridges and gazebos adding a nice touch to the landscape. Inside, the rooms are functional and spacious. My bathroom featured a large vanity and a walk-in shower; while the beige tiling and design feel a bit traditional, everything was clean and well-maintained. It’s the kind of room you use just for sleeping because there is so much to do outside. One of my favorite finds was the hammock area tucked between the palm trees—a rare quiet zone perfect for reading. As the sun sets, the resort transforms. The evening entertainment is a major highlight here. I watched an incredible Tanoura dance performance where the dancer spun in a lit-up, multi-colored skirt, which was mesmerizing. The night ended with a lively kids' disco on the main stage, ensuring the little ones went to bed tired and happy.
