Circus Circus Hotel Casino & Theme Park

$25-75 (plus ~$51 resort fee)/ night

Book this if You are a budget traveler who literally only needs a place to store luggage while you explore, or a family who prioritizes the Adventuredome over hygiene.

Why People Love It

6.315122 reviews
  • Dirt cheap room rates (often under $30)
  • The Adventuredome indoor theme park is legitimately fun
  • Free self-parking (a rarity on the Strip)

Quick Take: A chaotic, clown-themed relic that smells like popcorn and regret, but saves you enough money to eat like a king elsewhere.

Reviewed by @FrancMwasI was blown away by this suite at Circa. The adults-only atmosphere changes everything—it’s so chill yet high-energy. My favorite part was definitely the massive walk-in shower and getting ready with that insane lighting before hitting Fremont Street.

Guest Who Stayed Here Said

The hype

Families love the cheap fun, but everyone complains about the grime, the smell, and the non-existent service.

Reality check

You will likely encounter marijuana smoke in the hallways and hair in the bathroom that isn't yours.

  • You are on an extreme budget
  • You are traveling with kids who demand roller coasters
  • You have a high tolerance for noise and chaos

Cleanliness & Maintenance

3
  • Housekeeping: Hit or miss. Many reports of missed days and superficial cleaning.
  • Bathroom hygiene: Consistent complaints of hair in drains, mold in grout, and peeling tub coatings.
  • Maintenance: Aging infrastructure. Broken ice machines, slow elevators, and worn carpets are common.
  • Linens & towels: Often scratchy and worn. Check for stains immediately upon arrival.
  • Odors & scents: Strong smell of stale cigarette smoke, popcorn, and old carpet throughout the property.

Before you book

Good to know

  • The 'Horse-A-Round' bar no longer spins or serves alcohol; it's a snack stand now.
  • Wi-Fi is included in the resort fee but is notoriously spotty.
  • Check-in lines can be hour-long ordeals; use the kiosks if they are working.

What to pack

  • Lysol wipes (for high-touch surfaces)
  • Earplugs (mandatory)
  • Flip-flops (for the shower and carpet)

Room Genie

Best picks

  • West Tower (Modernized rooms, slightly cleaner, closer to lobby)
  • Casino Tower (Central location, but dated)

Rooms to avoid

  • Manor Motor Lodge (The absolute bottom of the barrel; dark, dirty, and feels unsafe)

Room Request Genie – copy & paste

I would like to request a high-floor room in the West Tower, away from the elevators. Please ensure it is NOT in the Manor Motor Lodge.

FAQ & Hidden tips

Everything you actually want to know before you book.

Is Circus Circus safe?

Generally yes, but it feels sketchier than other resorts. Security is present, but the Manor area feels isolated at night.

Are pets allowed?

NO pets in the hotel towers. Pets are ONLY allowed in the RV Park.

Is the pool good?

It's functional. The Splash Zone is great for kids, but don't expect a relaxing adult swim. It gets very crowded.

Does the room have a fridge?

Most standard rooms do NOT have a fridge. You must request one for a fee or book a specific suite.

Is parking really free?

Yes, self-parking is free for guests and visitors. Valet is currently unavailable or seasonal.

Can I walk to other casinos?

Yes, Resorts World is right next door (5 min walk), and the Strat is a longer walk north. The walk can feel long in the heat.

Insider Tips

  • Walk to Resorts World next door for a high-end food court (Famous Foods) to escape the Circus food.

  • The 'Slots-A-Fun' casino next door offers $2 shrimp cocktails and cheap beer.

  • The Steak House inside Circus Circus is legitimately one of the best old-school steakhouses in Vegas—don't let the location fool you.

5 things to know before you go

  • 💡The 'Horse-A-Round' bar was featured in 'Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas' but is now a sad gelato stand.

  • 💡There is a hidden, abandoned burlesque theater called the Hippodrome behind the walls.

  • 💡The RV Park is the only place on the Strip you can camp.

  • 💡The rotating restaurant at the top is long gone, but the views from the Skyrise Tower are still decent.

  • 💡It has the world's largest permanent circus tent.
